APPLE WITHDRAWS iOS 8.0.1 AFTER REPORTS OF MAJOR PROBLEMS

By: Steve

Apple released the iOS 8.0.1 which is their first update for the new OS on Wednesday afternoon.

The iOS 8.0.1 was meant to solve numerous issues such as,  the problem that held back HealthKit apps last week, a bug that prevented some apps from synching with the photo library, and also to patch up issues with third-party keyboards.

The iOS 8

But instead of being a remedy, the iOS 8.0.1 started causing issues of its own. The iOS 8.0.1 was reportedly breaking cellular reception and other features of the iPhones like Touch ID. Besides that, immediately after the installation of the iOS 8.0.1, the "no service" phrase is displayed on the iPhones. Apple eventually removed the faulty update.

According to the verge.com, the only solution to the problem caused by the new iOS 8.0.1  for the time being is to downgrade back to the original version of iOS 8 which was released a week ago.

Tim Cook, what is going on?? Steve Jobs would never let something like this to happen under his watch:-(
