A mobile phone company,  Amplicomms has developed a new smart phone for senior citizens which is the Power Tel M9000 also dubbed the Grandroid.

This smart phone has an easy to read screen, a loud ring tone, a SOS button on the back of it  to call for help and a clever Caller ID system where it will read out the phone number. 

This $ 227.44 smart phone uses the Android operating system and has a basic system of menus on screen. So, senior citizens of the world, welcome to the world of smart phones:-)
